A Site for Freelancers

I recently received information on Caterpi, a new website where freelance translators can find jobs. I haven’t tried it out, but Caterpi offered a special link for readers of Brave New Words, so you can get one month free on the site. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who tries it out.

    Why we should search for other website. All jobs will come first to proz.com. They are rocking in translation Industry. All the Translation Services providers will follow this website on a daily basis.

    Well, I'm not sure that everyone agrees that proz.com is the first or foremost site for translators on the internet, but I am aware that many people use it and find it useful.

    I definitely don't think proZ is the best source for translators but I'm not convinced that Caterpi is any better selling translations for $0.08 per word! It certainly won't give clients a very realistic idea of what a GOOD translation will cost.
