Congrats! I just came accross ur blog and find it fabulous and useful! I am a literary translator, with an MA from UEA and I currently live in Greece. Best regards, Foteini
Yes, I would say it did! First of all I had a great time in UEA with all the stuff and students - career-wise it has helped a lot. I definitely learned how to do my research and what to pay attention to when translating literature. I have done 37 books so far and i just love my job. Even if it kills me sometimes :) What is ur field? CHildrens' lit?
I am glad to hear that. It's great that you are such a successful and productive translator! I research children's literature primarily: http://www.uea.ac.uk/lit/People/Academic/BJ+Epstein

ReplyDeleteFoteini, I hope you enjoyed the MA at UEA. Did it help you with your translation career?
Best wishes,
