I can’t be the only bibliophile to love the smells of books and of libraries. Leather, a hint of dust or mustiness, ink, even pipe tobacco. Mmmm.
So for my birthday a few weeks ago, I was very pleased to receive an amazing perfume called In the Library. This is one of many unusual scents created by Christopher Brosius. I recommend it for all book-lovers!

Despite the multimodal capabilities of the web, there's one thing the web can't do, and that's reproduce scent. Reading this, though, makes me imagine what it would smell like, and I as a bibliophile want to track this scent down. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
That's true, Damon. It would be great if the internet could offer smells, too. Maybe that's one reason true bibliophiles will always want to read actual books and not just on the screen!
By the way, the scent is perfect for both men and women!
Best wishes,
BJ
I know it is too typical but...
what about "Perfume", by Patrick Süskind?
It's a nice combination between scents and literature :D
