Translation as a Comic Strip
This is a fun blog/book/comic strip, which features a translator and his adventures in comic format. There are so many metaphors for translation and perhaps translation is a comic strip could be one too, but regardless of that, check the site out.
Ah! I've been reading Mox for about a month now. It doesn't make me laugh every day, but when he is on he is REALLY, REALLY on. I get a kick out of it. ^^ Can't believe we didn't know about him before!
Originally from Chicago, I lived in southern Sweden for nearly 5.5 years, and moved to southern Wales in September 2006. I completed a Ph.D. translation studies in June 2009 at Swansea University, with a dissertation on the translation of children's literature.
Now I live in Norwich, England, where I am a lecturer at the University of East Anglia, and I also work as a translator, writer, and editor.

We need more people writing comics about translators or including translator characters in films or books!
Best wishes,
BJ
